植物と人とのつながりを創造する参加型アート展
How Plants Think は、2018 年にスウェーデンで開始したチカコ・ヤマシタ・ストロバイによる参加型アートシリーズです。アート展では、参加者が地域の植物とつながる機会をつくります。2022年は、仙台市にて、新しいシリーズを制作します。
気候変動は地球規模のグローバルな問題です。 グローバルな問題はどこの地域でも起こっているローカルな問題でもあります。 ぜひ、How Plants Think 2022に参加して、植物の視点からアートを創造してみませんか？みなさんが描き込むひとつひとつの新しいパーツで、作品が変化しながら成長していきます。
このアート展では、2018年のスウェーデン開催での作品も展示します。仙台で制作された作品は保存され、また世界のどこかの地域で、新しいシリーズに展示される予定です。How Plants Thinkシリーズも、それぞれの地域で変化しながら、成長していきます。

Participatory art exhibition to show the connection between humans and plants.
How Plants Think is a participatory art exhibition started by Chikako Yamashita Ströberg in Sweden 2018. The exhibition offers an opportunity for the visitors to connect with their local plants. In 2022, the exhibition comes to Sendai, Japan, to create a new series.
Climate change is a global issue. Global issues are local issues everywhere. Why not join the exhibition to engage in creating arts from the perspective of the plants?
The artwork is unexpectedly changing and growing with every visitor adding a new part.
In Japan, we have a tradition of hanging our wishes on trees in temple courtyards. Now, let’s listen to the trees' wishes in the museum!
The art work from Sweden will be shown in the Sendai exhibition. The art work created in Sendai will be kept to be shown at the next series somewhere in the world. How Plants Think is changing and growing in every new exhibition.
